May this prayer below be one that gives you what you need as you push through finals 
and wrap up your first year at Scripps! 

“God, giver of all work, both mundane and significant, may my life be in rhythm with your Holy Spirit, calling the mundane tasks of my day holy and finding fingerprints all over the crevices and corners of my work. In the moments when I find myself bored, may you bring meaning; when I find myself overwhelmed, may you bring calm; and when I find myself thrilled to embrace tasks with passion and purpose, may I find you the source of that joy. Amen.”

In light of such a rich graduation celebration weekend and rich four years at Scripps, I wanted to share this reflection from John O'Donahue about deep friendships. Anna,  First of all, this was the word of the day for Grateful Living yesterday which is so appropriate for the week ahead:  "Strength means honoring your entire range of emotion, even your despair and heartbreak. It means acknowledging each of those feelings, your questions and ideas and faith and terror, and meeting what comes with the full force of your heart." Brenda Shaughnessy Secondly, Katherine shared this post about Neal's new song that came out on May 9th, and I listened to it after my night run (in the wee hours of Saturday morning) and was in tears.
