I loved that you called last night to let me know of a little moment when you could hear Dad saying, "You see you're growing, right?" 

As I was lying in bed after you called, it reminded me of this wonderful protocol that Marilyn Vancil wrote in her book about the Enneagram. It's called "OWN UP," and this last week, I used it to untangle some emotions that were triggering for me. I wanted to send it your way to remind you of these things, and I wanted to let you know I love you so very much and am so proud of you.

In light of such a rich graduation celebration weekend and rich four years at Scripps, I wanted to share this reflection from John O'Donahue about deep friendships.
