Scripps Sunday - Alaska Edition #10
To Sit Quietly
by Gunilla Norris
Inside me there is a place where I live all alone
and that’s where you renew your springs that never dry up.
To sit quietly and let it be,
to breathe and let the air arrive,
to rest in the moment
and know that it is enough—
This is the gentleness we are called to,
a surrender that holds more power
than any striving could.
